Hey Tahseer, Got a refusal yesterday. (29th July). My program begins on the 6th of September. I am really conflicted wrt filing for visa under non sds or just deferring admission to Jan'23. Hope you doing great. in the imm1294e form it asks (during the past five years have you lived in any country other than your country more than 6 months) which mean from 2017 until 2022 right ? , i have lived in another country from 2014 - 2016 , but not 6 months in a row , like i would stay 4 months and leave for 2-3 months and come back for another 4 months , my question is , do i have to say YES and mention it , or NO.

I don't think it will be a problem as the medical info is linked using the IME number. But, I would advice you to ask a licensed consultant in this case.

Hey, Anmol. Sorry for the late reply. You will have to select No as it's not a compulsory thing. You will have to apply for a work permit later when you get the CoOp.

Dear Abdur, I had a query regarding work permit for PhD student where the University guarantees full funding to the student. And funding comprises both i.e. Fellowship and Research Assistantship (Employment). So, in this case the student needs to mark "Yes" under the "work is necessary component of studies" ? There is no confirmation from university regarding co-op or internship.
