Applying for a co op work permit once you are in Canada

Important update: From December 3, 2019 to July 15, 2020, anyone applying for this permit from within Canada needed to give biometrics if they had not given them already within the last 10 years. On July 16, 2020, IRCC announced a biometrics exemption for this application due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At this time, there is nothing you need to do if you receive the Biometrics Instruction Letter.
There is still an additional question in the eligibility questionnaire that asks, "In the past 10 years, have you given your fingerprints and photo (biometrics) for an application to come to Canada?" Be sure to answer this honestly and correctly. If you’re unsure, you can use the Check Status tool to find out if your biometrics are still valid. If you have not given biometrics before, you can pay the additional $85 biometrics fee and it will be refunded to you when the immigration officer processes your application.

Hi I have a question I came to Canada in Sep 2021 as a student, with a study permit of one year till Sep 30, 2022. I completed my course on Public Relations in April 2022. I took another course in Government Relations for May 2022. As both the courses are closely related and many subjects of first semester are interrelated, they offered me directly to second semester of Government Relations. But as per my offer letter , my program will end in Aug 2022. If I apply for an extension for study permit and coop together, will I get 1 year extension of study permit . Also after two years, if I apply for work permit, how many year will I get for work permit extension? Will it be 3 year or just 1 year

Helping a friend.. Hi, can I ask something? My passport expired along with my student permit and work permit. I am an Intl student and currently looking for a placement for my internship to complete my diploma course in Toronto. I am currently on a study break while looking for a job. I have renewed my passport and currently waiting for the results of the renewal of my work permit (because that's what the consultant helped me with). I am just bothered.
