They don't come here to study. Their ultimate goal is applying for Canada PR and stay here. The easiest path for who does not have enough qualifications to come thru legal way to Canada is using the back door. They just find a short course from a diploma mill as they do not have enough financial support or qualifications to do a credible degree in a university. After completing that bs course, they get a PGWP and then apply for PR. There are many indian students who is Canada now without having any visa status, doing cash jobs, begging foods from food banks, planning to do sham marriages, etc to save their visa status here. Government should take actions for these. There is a girl that I know well, whose student visa is expired now, now PGWP, planning to apply for asylum. These days she is trying to get her driver's license in Canada illegally. Learning driving in countryside these days. They destroy Canada, almost they have done. All of these entitled turbenators should be deported.

As a born & raised Canadian, I'd like to say Thank God!! My government has listened to the complaints of us Canadians and will be deporting over 70,000 international students & temporary foreign workers! Canadians are thrilled about this. So happy these ''people are being kicked out of our country. Canada has vowed to accept fewer foreign students in 2025 and today announced to even further cut the reduced numbers by another 10% This is what Canadians want. This is not only the right move but it’s a move made 5 years to late in my opinion. I’m in the GTA and I swear many cities aren’t even Canadian anymore. You can’t have immigration coming from just one country that is a recipe for disaster, they not only need to limit immigration but diversify it as well so we can get people from all walks of life not just from the same place.
