You could return home as you belong to Toronto. What about passengers who do not have options? Further, it would be a mess for connecting flights from Delhi

Hi, thank you for asking this question as I missed this point in the video. So to answer this, people who got reschedule through airline and were not from Toronto , they also got free of cost accommodation by Airlines. And If they booked end to end journey ticket on same PNR they got a reschedule for entire journey which includes further connecting flights from Delhi as well.
