Same here. Although I’m an American and it’s always frustrating to watch our neighbors win gold in ice hockey every Winter Olympics, this rivalry between the USA and Canada I would say is VERY intense.

Most of the world will never understand us Canadians love for this sport. Those who do respect our passion. As for the American trolls on here I pity you. You will never have a sport that brings you all together the way hockey can for us. Not the nba dream team. Not the 1980 miracle on ice. Nothing

@4lifeReagan Well of course :) The Americans play good hockey, I just don't like those two guys! It's a personal thing rather than doubting their talent. It also is a big boost to American hockey that they have top flight goaltending while Canada's is questionable... the fact that Luongo was in net for the gold medal game and let in a softie to Kesler (who is awesome btw) and then couldn't cover up in a scramble at the end - I think Team Canada deserves props for overcoming the problems in goal.

"You dont need to be smart to be a soldier".. I cant even believe that quote oh my god. I wouldnt be totally comfortable with my squad leader / strategist being a high school dropout. If those are the only standards imposed by your army then you have just proved my point. I used the right word, I meant best as in, man for man, your army doesnt hold up to the soldiers spawned from Europe, or Canada, or most other countries.

Actually WiFi was patented by a group of Australian scientists working for our government funded scientific research organisation the CSIRO in 1996.

You know what pisses me off about the new changes to the lyrics of O-Canada. Here when the flag was being raised our whole nation sung along to O-Canada at the same time. But now this classic video is ruined because it no longer has the word all our sons command

Still the CSIRO has the patent (U.S. Patent 5,487,069) and has sucked up an estimated $430 million from the patent so far including settlements from Microsoft, Fujitsu, Asus, Dell, Intel, Nintendo, Toshiba, Netgear, Buffalo, D-Link, Belkin, SMC, Accton, 3Com, AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile. So legally speaking WiFi just like the the black box flight recorder, ultrasound machine, rack and pinion steering, the digital sampler and the bionic ear is an Aussie invention.

Hockey is Canada's game, that cool. I was just glad that it was entertaining. No we as Americans do not have ONE sport that we rally around, but soccer is becoming that way. But at the same time, we have a plethora of sports that a lot of people are very dedicated to. If football was as popular around the world as it is here, then we would. But its not, but rest assured, YOU DO NOT WANT TO SEE US RALLY FOR FOOTBALL, Canada vs. USA in pigskin, your fans would be embarrassed. Congrats though

First of all there are military schools specifically for military training and strategy. Take west point for example. While yes many soldiers are bad students, you don't need to be smart to be a soldier. Being a soldier is knowing martial art being in shape and knowing some basic military principles and knowing how to follow orders. And i only corrected your grammar because you were using a word that you didn't know the meaning of.

@Relbl How can you say that about Parise and Kane? They are very good skilled players and played hard. Tell me this though...you have to admit team USA was a team of VERY YOUNG scorers and checking line guys against a team of top top bottom SUPER STARS and despite that team Canada almost got beat. Say what you want but the UNITED STATES is producing very good players at a very good rate just as much as Canada is. Will you admit that atleast?

@hanmerboys I would prefer to win an olympic gold medal than the cup... in the cuo case, that only means your the best team of the league, but in a gold medal case, the proves that your the best team in the whole world... also in the olympics, there's one team for each country, but in the NHL there was 24 american team for only 6 canadian team (now 23 and 7).. CANADA IS THE BEST!

The US Canada border is not patrolled at all compared to the Mexico US border so if they really thought canada was that much better than the US they would spare the extra couple days of driving.
