Agree with you Kevin regarding Davis, contribution has been average over the last year.

I think you guys are wildly out of touch with the current state of the elite levels of the modern game. Davies sitting this out due to fatigue is a valid reason, not an excuse. Players at the elite levels in Europe are playing week-in-week-out, sometimes in two to three matches within a given week, sometimes within multiple competitions, including domestic cup and European cup competitions. Couple that with national team duties, and that's a lot of travel, a lot of training and a lot of matches; upwards of 60-70+ per year for some of these players, with a quarter to a third of those just from September to November alone. Players are getting burnt out and susceptible to injuries which create long-term problems. Davies has earned a break for goodness sake, and sure, you should never underestimate any opponent, but if you seriously think Davies' absence will significantly hurt our chances of beating Suriname, that is just a wild take that I cannot get behind.
