You can retrofit a reverse camera if you want to. I have the same problem with my 2010 Mazda MX-5 but it has a Sony head unit with a screen so I'm planning on adding a reversing camera soon

@ravioli0239 thank you but I am a fussy one i am not one for screens in my car but ill take this into consideration I have them little mirror pods on my mirrors for parralel parking, and damn that is a nice car the 2 seater mx-5 my partner loves them

​@MissSharon-w8bmy mx-5 is actually based on a shortened version of the chassis in your car which I think is pretty cool. If you're not one for screens you can get parking sensor kits to go in your rear bumper and then it has a little speaker inside the car to let you know when you're getting close to things

@ravioli0239 Is that your dream car by the way ?? I have them in the bumper but need to get them reconnected if they work that is I'm not sure if they do i had the car since February last year I been driving it since on a learners till December when I passed.

@MissSharon-w8b it's not my dream car but it is a car I'd like to keep for as long as possible. It's actually my first car I've owned. I think my dream car would be a Porsche 944 (not sure if I want on of the turbo ones or an NA version really)but can't really afford the maintenance of a car from the 80s currently given I'm a university student in the uk. I've only had the Mazda for about a month now. If I were you I'd definitely be trying to get those sensors working
