Many individuals who have acquired Canada’s Permanent Residency (PR) and citizenship have now become part of the responsibility for repaying Canada's foreign debt. After investing substantial amounts of money in education and spending countless hours working tirelessly, often in low-wage jobs, one must ask: Is obtaining Canada’s PR truly a wise choice? Shouldn't we reconsider the true value of such decisions, especially when considering the cost of living and the long-term impact on personal well-being? Furthermore, Canada is being led by the inept officials of the Liberal Party, who have spared no effort in undermining the country’s economy and reputation. For a clearer perspective on the situation, watch Daniela Cambone’s discussion with Kevin O'Leary (starting at 10:55), a prominent Canadian businessman and investor, where they highlight the serious challenges facing Canada today. It's crucial to reconsider whether this is the right time to stake your future in a country whose leadership seems to be driving it toward collapse.

$15000 per month is $110-$120 per hour on contract, which is easily achievable. There are contracts available at that rate, I know a solution architect who earns $150 per hour. What Harmeet is saying is possible and many people around you may be earning it :) Dont compare it with FTE packages - no one gets 300k per year unless you are a CXO of a US based MNC. Thats doesn't mean you cant get the money through contracting. The only issue with contract jobs is you will need to find a new gig once you finish thr current one (very few get extended) and then you may earn 15-20K for a month but wont be able to sustain it for a complete year.
@sainiamarjeetАй бұрын
he can't guarantee the same for future on sustainable basis from real estate only
@margisheth87Ай бұрын
Please don’t compare full stack developers and architects with product managers. 😅 no one gets 300K in Canada specially in government job. And BTW let’s do fact check, if he is truly being transparent. A - government at any levels does not have consulting powers. It could be through subcontractors so that’s not called government job. That is still a private job working on government projects. B - if that is government job then any one earning more than 100K should be included sunshine list produced by government of each province as well as at federal level every year. Googling name in sunshine list for Ontario will show his exact earnings with benefits without tax deduction if he earns more than 100k working as government employee in Ontario Canada.
@kakjhalАй бұрын
@@margisheth87 Please do the research and do let us know. I don't really have time to research through government lists to put someone down on social media. By the way, looks like you have never worked in Contracting B2B. $110 /hour doesn't quite equate to $300K / year FTE. There are several factors involved, tax treatment is one, benefits other. But do let us know 😂 since Desis take more interest in others lives more than their own, I won't be surprised if you find some dirt on them just to put them down. Also another peculiar thing with contracting is a "Single" contract might cease to exist in 3 or 6 months and then the person won't show up in "Sunshine" list (Ideally they won't anyways because most contracts are B2B & not B2C, payments are made to corporations and not individuals)

@syedahmed20184 күн бұрын
You could have started a startup in the IT field. Many startups in the US became millionaires within no time. Becoming a realtor in Canada requires only a few months of study and some money, that's it. Only in GTA alone are 86000 real estate agents working and the total homes sold in 2023 is just 58000. But, if you are a specialist (IT, health, engineering, etc..) only those relative specialists can become a businessman in that field not everyone, unlike real estate. Only you will become a real estate sales agent; if you are a good salesman, you will succeed. My point of view is that you can start your own business in your own field with innovation if you want to become an entrepreneur and earn more than what you can in employment/job. But you cannot start driving Uber/Lyft if you think that you can earn more and at the same time, you are your own boss.

There may be periods of lull (not getting a new contract/ not cracking a sales deal) in both - you are doing it because you are strong willed & hardworking. By the way, do you explain to these first time home buyers that buying a property on mortgage is a net to net loss making decisions if you consider all costs including ( interest paid over the overall tenure opportunity costs of not investing that money on other financial instruments, overhead costs of owning a property, plus many other non-monetized things that you sacrifice by owning a house on mortgage like going on vacations, etc)? All this is such a notorious vicious cycle and the most atrocious business that it's better to keep away from it for humanitarian reasons 😢😡
