Cool vid, age and IELTS are important but one factor that can move you up the ranks is getting a province nomination (however means necessary), it's the biggest most significant factor!

Hello Wolo, I have an elder brother who's trying to relocate to Canada with his family. Him and his wife got high scores in ielts, but their crs scores are less than 400 cos they are in their 40es. Yes, you will still have to write IELTS

Until you write the language exam, you cannot determine if you can create the EE profile, so its best to write it and get very high scores

I was 33 when I came to Canada in 2002 with my Canadian Wife and our daughter. Took longer than it should because the govt changed the immigration rules which meant I had to redo my medical(another $1500 dollars) because it expired. I was told because of our circumstances by a canadian at the enbassy to literally move to Canada and apply once I was there. Still took 8 months but was told it may have taken 2 years doing it from the UK.

It’s funny to hear how people put limitations on themselves because of age especially we as Africans. Well, I took an academic IELTS exam last year after reading all the negative feedback I was hearing on social media just to see how I will fare if I need to write it one day. After watching KZbin videos and learning 2 hours daily for 6 weeks just to know how I would do and had an overall band score of 7.5 with 8 in listening being the highest and 7 in reading, writing, and speaking and I was 35. IELTS is an exam and needs to be prepared for just like any other exam. The passing or failure rate is not dependent on age, please.
