Canadian airport heist nets almost $15 million in gold and valuables, police say

A cargo container with gold and other items worth over CA$20 million ($14.8 million) was stolen from Toronto’s Pearson international airport, authorities said.

This cargo was" removed by illegal means". Why can't they just say IT WAS STOLEN? No mention either of any security precautions taken to protect such a valuable cargo. The Cop spokesperson mentioned the cargo was worth in excess of $20 million. Don't they even know how much was stolen??

@@xKalphax the equivalent is the Canadian Pension Plan, or CPP. They also have something called RRSP, where you can put money and then your employer will put the same amount. Then,it is invested either on secure bonds,or stocks. The CPP is send to the Canadian Pension Plan board, and there they managed each CPP contribution. By the way,the CPP works as follow: If an employee pays $50 on contribution to his or her CPP,the employers pays the same amount. For the EI, the employee pays $30,the employers pays $30*1.4 what the employee paid

No worries, if Air Canada is the carrier it's part of the service, they loose your luggage all the time. In two or three weeks AFTER your trip UPS will deliver the battered gold to it's destination with a note from Air Canada apologizing for the delay.
