Canadian Army - Artllery Soldier [Field]

I just got invited to compete for the artillery soldier trade with Toronto 7 Regiment. I love extreme weather, working out and driving. Hopefully I'll make it in with the Herbies and best of luck to the rest of ya applying for the position

The role of the artillery is to destroy or neutralize the enemy with indirect fire as apart of the all arms battle.

How often do artillery soldiers fight as infantry? And how often can they go to those huge training exercises with other regiments? I think I am going to join the reserve regiment here in lethbridge for artillery

1) does the CF have mobile artillery ( aside from the ADATS) ? if not im going to join the armourd or infantry 2) do they have combat time? like front lines combat in the mud shooting back with rifles

my dad and brother in law are both gunners! I am just a man eating my hungry man dinner - i am so upset. Reall i am. MY dad kept telling me to cut my hair in the 80"s and join the force, isaid no way my hair means way to much to me-- > Now at my age i lost most of it and could retire with full benefits !!!
