Dont pull cash out cash is useless. Buy food, water, supplies, clothe, solar generators, self defense tools and other assets. This will preserve your wealth. Once you believe your family can survive a year without resupply. Start putting money into precious metals. Physical metals that you store at home. Cash, digital money in ur bank and stocks isnt safe. Every year both are losing value.

The economic crisis and downturn are all the signs of 2008 market crash 2.0, so my question is do I still save in the Canadian dollar or is it okay to move all emergency and savings to precious metals?
@michealliam81895 ай бұрын
In light of the ongoing global economic crisis, it is crucial for everyone to prioritize investing in diverse sources of income that are not reliant on the government. This includes exploring opportunities in stocks, gold, silver, and digital currencies. Despite the challenging economic situation, it remains a favorable time to consider these investments.

The pathway to substantial returns doesn't solely rely on stocks with significant movements. Instead, it revolves around effectively managing risk relative to reward. By appropriately sizing your positions and capitalizing on your advantage repeatedly, you can progressively work towards achieving your financial goals. This principle applies across various investment approaches, whether it be long-term investing or day trading.

This is precisely why I like having a portfolio coach guide my day-to-day market decisions: with their extensive knowledge of going long and short at the same time, using risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying it off as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, their skillset makes it nearly impossible for them to underperform. I've been utilizing a portfolio coach for more than two years, and I've made over $800,000.

What does it cost to build a house in Canada? I would think builders would be flooding the market
@FranchiseCityOnline5 ай бұрын
Depends on the province. We got single family residential estimates about 18 months ago it was over $320 a square foot - which is too high. They were booked over a year out so they just bid high. Same with service people they are in such demand here they bid $2000 for any job. Buildings going up everywhere. Other provinces may be different but in New Brunswick it is impossible to find a reasonably priced builder.
@mtrest45 ай бұрын
Govts objective is to keep real estate prices high by keeping supply of houses low (through red tape) and increasing demand (through a flood of immigration). Some m.o.r.o.n economists sold the silly idea that keeping the population indentured in mortgage and other debt slavery to banks is good for the nation. The reality its good for banks but disastrous for productive people of the nation. It turns the working class into the working poor and progressively de-skills the economy. Worse yet, the distortion requires even more distortion (inflating, taxing..etc) to prevent what is a pyramid scheme from collapsing and wiping out huge amounts of the people's wealth. It also has a massively corrupting influence on govt where useless industries producing nothing (like banking) keep lobbying for more and more of the above. The free market and Capitalism goes out the window with Crony Capitalism taking its place.

A house costs 500k to build just the house not including land. Roads and sewers are more. Housing isn't over priced in most of canada That's why construction is stopping not accelerating. In most decent cities a house will always be worth 500k or more. In some places houses that are only worth 200k are really old falling apart shitty houses in a town with no jobs and they are not worth buying even at 200k because they need so many repairs.
