Good for him that he is so passionate about dancing. He looks very talented. I hope he wins a gold. That would be quite an accomplishment. But how is breakdancing a sport?
@joetunon3 ай бұрын
If you don't see the athleticism behind it, particularly after watching this video, I can't imagine any explanation sufficing. Breakdancing should speak for itself. Perhaps it's the street garb and the history of it growing on the streets that makes it hard to see. That was something I wondered until I realized how athletic and obviously gymnastic it is, similar to a floor routine mixed with a pommel horse.
@AL.BUNDY.3 ай бұрын
@@joetunon I see the athleticism. But thats like saying Tango or Quickstep or parkour should be in the Olympics. Its more of an physical art than a competitive sport. But since it is an Olympic sport, then they should add ball room dancing and parkour.

It''s B- Boy not breakdance. Why does mainstream media constantly say breakdancer instead of B-Boy?
@jayelloh7 ай бұрын
It's just more general to say breaking that bboying or bgirling. Same thing happens with the other hip hop elements like graffiti/writing and MCing/rapping. Just a more formal way for people to classify things and put it on wikipedia i guess

@@michaelmcclenon6663 Bruh, breakdance athletes put an insane amount of work into their art. Breakers like bboy Pocket ramps up to 12 hours a day leading up to events. The athleticism is insane. You should make fun of horseback riding if you want to make fun of something. What athletic capability do they need?
@copandondotto Жыл бұрын
Try doing a simple flare. It's the most basic move in breakdancing and gymnastics. Then you'll quickly realize the athleticism needed to pull off those complex moves you see.
