Anyone who says they don't like Frank has never took the time to listen to his catalog of awesome music.

My very first concert was Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush!!! Yikes, that was almost 50 years ago. He's such a fantastic guitarist. This track gave me Jeff Healy vibes. Good job as always guys.

Unlike yourselves, I knew of Frank Marino from 'Mahogany Rush' the band, you should check out their '70s stuff, tracks that I recommend are: "Dragonfly", "I'm Going Away", "Sister Change", "The Answer", "Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)", "Child of The Novelty", "I'm a King Bee", "Requiem For a Sinner", "Buddy", "World Anthem". There are many more but these are great ones to continue with.

Great reaction ! Happy you found Frank. Yes SG and Frank builds his own effects pedals and signature sound. Please check out ' Strange Dreams' and ' The Answer ' from the same Agora Theater concert. I'm writing to you from Lyon France by way of Cincinnati Ohio USA. Been a fan of Frank since I was a kid in the 70's. Enjoy !

That was Frank at 40%. Give "We Ain't Dead Yet" or "I'm a King Bee" a listen, both live!

They were solid opening for Santana in the 70's. Two very compatible bands. Like Foghat , their best selling album was a live one at that time. Blues / Rock 👍

You thought Alex Lifeson was underrated, meet Frank Marino, an absolute monster on the guitar. First came Hendrix and then came Frank Marino. Mahogany Rush started around the time of Jimi Hendrix death (early 70's), Frank was highly influenced by Hendrix and has done some amazing tributes to Jimi over the years. Mahogany Rush were an amazing band, but if your aren't from the US or the UK, your exposure and marketing is limited. Also it didn't help, Frank was constantly fighting with the musical establishment and in imo was blackballed in the industry. In regards to this DVD collection of Frank & Mahogany Rush. People have been telling Frank you have to do a live DVD collection of your songs. For the most part, there wasn't much official live content of the band. So around 2010 Frank put together this collection (Live at the Agora). This live collection is 6 hrs long and I believe was done in one day. This just might be the greatest collection of guitar playing ever produced. If you play guitar it's a must have. Anyways after the concert, the audio of the recording was corrupt. Frank was told it wasn't fixable due to the amount of time required to go through ever second of tape and painstakingly fix the audio. Frank, decided he would take of the project himself and 8 to 9 years later the DVD collection was released. BTW, I'm a huge Rush fan, love the tshirt. If you like guitar playing check out one of favorites Gary Moore, "The Messiah will Come Again".

The weather has been the same here. The wettest winter on record. Usually it's very cold and snows quite a bit. Only one day of proper snow this time.

I don't understand how you can be from Canada and you have never heard of Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush, one of the if not the best guitar players and the best band from Canada with Rush in its name.

I'm not a fan of this particular song, but i wouldn't mind hearing more from the same band to see what else they have.

Apart fi the obvious "You Got Living" I couldn't name any of their stuff I've heard but some of it is better than this and it's probably worth a listening to more.
