By the way, where did you buy your wood counter. I think it would look great for food photographic. Thank! :)

Thanks Jonny.

It is actually not wood but a wood grain paper that I wrapped around a piece of wood. It comes in a large roll like wall paper. I got this at my area craft store but I know they sell it on Amazon too. Hope this helps.

These look sooooo good but as a Canadian and a Canadian living in Quebec where Queues de Castor are pretty big, that doesn't look like a Beaver Tail. They are really dark after you took them out of the oil, they should be more golden...tho it could be the camera or lighting. My fav Beaver Tail is hazelnut spread and bananas, or raspberries and chocolate.

Yum! Tried to make bread last week but it didn't rise. I don't bake enough and it looks like my yeast is way too old :P
@Funfoods8 жыл бұрын
Working with yeast can be tough sometimes. If the water is too warm it will kill the yeast. That is the biggest mistake most people make. Also, if it just doesn't foam up correctly it could be that its too old. Better luck next time.
@JJourney18 жыл бұрын
yep! I made sure to use a thermometer so I wouldn't kill the yeast, *sigh* lol

Beaver tails are not thick like that, we stretch them by hand to about 1/2" thick before we put them in the oil
