I lived across the street from a farm like yours in the UK. Every year the farmer sprayed liquid gold on his field and omg did stink. But after 6 or 7 years when he sprayed I smelled brownies and I did for a decade or more. I did not understand it but I did not mind either.

Thanks Michael. I'm slowly modifying my videos to make them more personable. I want my viewers to see that farming is a very difficult, risky, stressful, expensive and lots of hard work. It's sweaty, dirty often dangerous and never-ending. EVERY farming video I make shows that ALL the things that go on in my videos is for people like you and I to be able to put a little milk in our coffee and milk on the kids cereal.....

Well mixed, transported, distributed over the parcels and worked the liquid manure into the ground to reduce emission and conserve the nitrogen in best way. Application rate of the effluent was written to be 3500 US gallons per acre., means roughly 32,739 liter per hectare, say 32.7 cubic metre / ha, which seems reasonable. Calculated using 1 US gallon per acre = 9.35 liter per hectare. Thanks to Farmer Drone and to Midlee Farms of Vernon Ontario and Meyerhans Custom Farming Inc.

Interesting perspective. I was wondering where all the manure comes from -- all your own resources or maybe other farmers take truckloads of the stuff to your facility. It looks big enough to cope with the output of several thousand cows! Col, NZ.

Well, this 6M liter lagoon holds the manure from one dairy farm and will hold about a 6 month supply. It's emptied twice a year. Every farm has a similar holding facility. The natural byproduct from these animals makes fantastic fertilizer for the next crops....

Très jolies vidéo. Je veux savoir combien de temps le fumier reste le mélanger avec de l’eau pour être utiliser dans le champ ?
@farmerdrone3 ай бұрын
Merci.

It is not difficult to see the amount between the three nozzles. Actually, the middle one has too much and the two outer ones too little, or vice versa. But since the spray was applied across the field, the farmer could mix it up again when working it in.
