I seriously think if I ever met you guys in person I would just cry tears of joy. But because of where I live that will most likely never happen. No KZbinrs visit this part the state's. But over the years I've seen you all change and grow and try out new animes and just have fun with it all (pardon the run on sentence I am in a hurry). And it makes me really hope and pray that even for one day I could do something like that. Because seeing you all have as much fun as you do even in the older videos still makes me smile and let me tell you I've watched them all a crazy amount of times. I love you guys and I truly hope that even if it's anime that I don't know, you all continue doing what you're doing and have fun doing it. 😍😘❤🦄

I feel like it would have been hilarious if you asked her to sing it in French afterwards XD just as a joke of course. I feel like most Canadians know the anthem in both English and French (or at least a part of it in French).

Wtf, you have rules to display the flag in America? And is the hand in your heart really a thing?
@MissMistressNerd7 жыл бұрын
The Flag Code states: The flag should not be out passed sunset unless it is properly lighted. The flag should not be left out in bad weather. It should be displayed at every school during a school day. If there is a group of flags the USA flag needs to be the highest unless it is anther nations flag as “International usage forbids the display of the flag of one nation above that of another nation in time of peace.” The flag should never touch anything beneath it, such as the ground, the floor, water, or merchandise. The flag should never be carried flat or horizontally, but always aloft and free. The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery. It should never be festooned, drawn back, nor up, in folds, but always allowed to fall free. Bunting of blue, white, and red, always arranged with the blue above, the white in the middle, and the red below. The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever. It should not be embroidered on such articles as cushions or handkerchiefs and the like, printed or otherwise impressed on paper napkins or boxes or anything that is designed for temporary use and discard. Advertising signs should not be fastened to a staff or halyard from which the flag is flown. No part of the flag should ever be used as a costume or athletic uniform. However, a flag patch may be affixed to the uniform of military personnel, firemen, policemen, and members of patriotic organizations. The flag represents a living country and is itself considered a living thing. Therefore, the lapel flag pin being a replica, should be worn on the left lapel near the heart. During the ceremony of hoisting or lowering the flag or when the flag is passing in a parade or in review, all persons present in uniform should render the military salute. Members of the Armed Forces and veterans who are present but not in uniform may render the military salute. All other persons present should face the flag and stand at attention with the right hand over the heart, or if applicable, remove their headdress with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart. None of these things will land you in jail though. They are looked down upon. All of the above were illegal until 1990(I think)when the supreme court stepped in and then the above were considered protected under the first amendment of free speech. And with all that I haven't covered the pledge of allegiance 😓
@yurikatsuki31987 жыл бұрын
Ms. Nerd Here are the words to it- I pledge allegiance To the flag of the United States of America. Under god. One nation. Indivisible with with liberty and justice to all
@MissMistressNerd7 жыл бұрын
Thanks Yuri but what I meant was I hadn't even touched the pledge and the codes, edict, legal battles, and controversy surrounding it. I grew up saying the pledge every morning and just when I thought I could forget it my job(daycare helper) decided to start teaching it to the kids haha
@emmabrook96917 жыл бұрын
Wow, thanks (that sounds sarcastic but I don't mean it that way) I really didn't know that, I thought it was exaggerated to play up the American patriotic stereotype. I don't mean that as insulting, just goes to show my ignorance I guess.
@MissMistressNerd7 жыл бұрын
Ah Its okay no offense taken, I know what you mean lol For the most part the parts of the code about apparel, bedding, drapery, advertising, costume and athletic uniform are largely ignored. As for the others; dropping it on the ground, burning, it, flying it, etc, are held up by most Americans

This is so great! I love this! It's cringy in a good way where you cant help but laugh. Also ugh hey while I'm here, and I got all these questions and the anthem, can I be an unofficial Cananadian? Some shit's going down here in America and well ya know...
