I just spoke with the assistant bank manager at BMO in BC if after your five year term mortgage even if you have been making your payments no problem and you were making your car payments no problem but your income has gone down and you may not be renewed for your mortgage if your income does not allow you to purchase the same amount of mortgage you got in the first place, even if you have been really awesome with your payment And the Realtors are telling the opposite And the bank told me that all banks do not consider cerb as income So if you have two incomes and you lost one you will not be renewed to have a cosigner or I can come up with more money So if you have gone from 2 income to one you lose your house when 5 or ten year term is done.
