Thank you for sharing. I use to visit the air show every year at the water front but I haven't seen it in person in some time due to living far away for work now. This also brings back some good pre air show memories of watching the various aircraft fly over my house, arriving at the airport.

well the A10 did make it.. It didn't practice today, neither did the blackhawk or A-400. Hope I get to see them tomorrow, seeing all 9 Snowbirds and Red Arrows in formation together today was sweet.

Yes they did. We thought they would bail but they did show up. Pretty late in the day. Blackhawk is no more, got called away to a mission and will not be at the show this year.

Same here ;) Marilyn Bell Park. Hands down in my view the best location to get all the action. And if you’ve seen my previous videos on the show; they’re all shot from there too.

The best place is at the CNE. Canadian National Exhibition. If you don't want to purchase the ticket, you can hang out at the park by the lake near the show ground.

Why don't the Snowbirds perform over in Europe?

I believe their aircraft have aged a lot and they’re not able to perform trans-Atlantic crossings, and they cannot refuel either since the Tutor is a training aircraft.

frist off, great footage of all the participants. Didn't know they even do formation landing! lol That's awesome. this being said, kinda sad to see how the show has become a formal shell of itself. The snowbirds are a given, but the rest of the planes.. really? That's all that could come... Is it because alot of the military planes have been retired?? Man, I remember when the airshow was the airshow! The who's who of planes showed up. Concorde, F15's, F14's, F16's, F117's, B2's, B1's, Apache's, etc. Now.. a couple of A10's and an F18. A lone F18?! Wow... how times have changed... :-( The last decent show was probably in 2017 when a Raptor showed up?? Kinda sad..

Thanks a lot Chris! Yes. The Snowbirds do a three by three by three formation landing. Unfortunately, yes. The show has gone down than what it used to be years ago. I have people write this to me every time and I wish I was around back then to see all that used to come to the show. Unfortunately one of the growing problems to the show is the fact that the city is getting larger and more are complaining about the Airshow aircraft and the noise they emit. There are several other factors as well but unfortunately I don’t know all the details to the story. Truth be told, last years Show was great too with the Thunderbirds, Snowbirds, F-35 Demo and CF-18 Hornet Demo. This year’s was good too but just lacked a little bit of noise ;)

@@ErnestGutschikAviation Its great you were able to capture all of this. In great detail too. Yeah, unfortunately the tech from the past just wasn't up to snuff compared to what we have now. Seeing all the military aircraft perform their stunts was fantastic. Not to mention the grace and beauty of the Concorde. I don't understand the people complaining about noise. They live in downtown! That's all they have is noise. Adding a few jets for a few days isn't going to make a difference. (shakes head) Unfortunately its the changing times.. I wouldn't be surprised if they get rid of the airshow entirely. Eventually people will complain how they're just wasting fuel and polluting the environment *rolls eyes* (never mind all the flights that happen out of Pearson every day! Do they think those engines aren't polluting the environment? They run on some special non harming fuel?? ) I long for the glory days...

We had 50 front line 24/7 fighters...plus the OTU and OCU!....a of good 1/3 of my kindergarten class were RAF ratz from N. Thanks! Well, hard to say. The Airshow changed things up a bit a few years ago when they decided to park the aircraft at CDF. Might have something to do with the ground handling or tenants at the North End.
