Finally someone that knows how to shoot an air show. No zooming in and giving the right perspective from a spectator's view. Well done.

Nice seeing a Vari-Eze being put through some aerobatics. My favourite Burt Rutan design is the Quickie.

Great taste! The Vari-Eze and Quickie are both iconic designs from the legendary Burt Rutan. The Quickie's unique canard configuration and efficient design make it a standout. Did you know the Quickie was designed to be a low-cost, easy-to-build aircraft for homebuilders? Rutan's innovative spirit continues to inspire aviation enthusiasts!

Fun fact……..Snowbirds are great, but their equipment is obsolete and for about half of their show, they are flying outside the performance envelope of their old ejection seats. As a Canadian I can tell you nothing will change until there is a horrible incident in front of thousands of spectators. Then there will be inquiries, Royal Commissions, etc etc…and that will be the unfortunate end for the Snowbirds. Sad, but it’s the Canadian way.
@Tour54 ай бұрын
That's a sobering reality check. It's unfortunate that safety concerns often don't receive attention until a tragic incident occurs. The Snowbirds are an iconic part of Canadian culture, and it would be devastating if their performances were to end due to a preventable accident. Hopefully, your comment will help raise awareness and prompt proactive action to address the issue before it's too late.

Does the Canadian military even have these jets?
@Tour54 ай бұрын
The Canadian military does not operate the Red Arrows' iconic Hawk jets, as they are specifically used by the Royal Air Force (RAF) of the United Kingdom. However, Canada does have its own aerobatic team, the Snowbirds, who fly the Canadair CT-114 Tutor jets.
