Hello everyone! Welcome back to the Canadian International Air Show 2019 where we continue with the Canadian Forces Snowbirds closing the show!
The CF Snowbirds and their nine CT-114 Tutors were cleared into the show with full height to do their high show starting off with the check in and then right into the show. Since it was my first time seeing the Snowbirds for the whole year, I do have to say that some of the moves were totally different as opposed to what I saw last year including some that were taken out and some news ones but it still made for a great show and a great close to day one of the show! Enjoy the video!

Great flying. I have seen the Red Arrows several times, Snowbirds, the French/Italian national teams, and the Blue Angels, and they are all much of a muchness; brilliant flying. They are all on an equal footing and a credit to their respective air forces.

Very good! The Snowbirds are a very good team! I should imagine an extra degree of difficulty trying to formate a straight winged aircraft.

Thanks! Indeed! It’s a really cool maneuver. Last year they made a joke out of when the announcers said “from this formation; the two solo’s can look deep into each other’s eyes as they perform the mirror role” and then they played Careless Whisperer. And the joke was loved by everyone so they kept it ;)

These Canucks might have smaller & less powerful aircraft , but when it comes to precision and cockpit communication they are the best in the business , especially on low flying starburst stunt .Great flying by our Canadian pilot's and continue getting more experience , I'm impressed,needs a little color in our smoke,though?Go Snowbirds.

As much as I’d like them to finally get moved into Hawks and have the Tutors retired for good, there’s something to be said for just how unique it is to be the only(?) active team flying this jet, and it’s such a beautiful piece of business, too.

And the fact that the Snowbirds have always been on Tutors too and they’re still continuing. I’d say for a couple years more they will.

Thanks! Yes, majority of the videos I shot are taken with that camcorder. External Rode mic yes. Negative on the filters.

CT-114 Tutors, Simon. They’re a trainer aircraft. Very few left in the Royal Canadian Air Force and the rest are with the Snowbirds here.
