Canadian Pacific Railway in Campbellville, Ontario

This was some Canadian Pacific Railway action taken during my tour around southwestern Ontario in Campbellville, Ontario July 28, 2017.
Unfortunely this was the only train I caught in Campbellville in the few hours I had. It was a little disappointing and I was certainly expecting to see more than that, but I was glad I stuck it out long enough to catch this one.

Thank you. I think the 246 when south at Guelph Junction. I think that heads toward Hamilton, but I not entirely sure.

schnuurtchke Unfortunely I have had very little luck in this area, but I caught this one early in the morning coming from the Toronto. I believe their is one that come by the other way from cambridge some time between 1pm-2pm. I'm not sure if goes to Hamilton or Toronto, because i caught it much further east on the opposite side of guelph junction. Then I seen one come from Hamiton towards cambridge around 4pm-5pm. I'm not sure if these are the regular trai n times for this area.

Nice catch! I've seen these tracks before but haven't railfaned in this area yet. Do you know how many trains this subdivision usally sees a day? Like how long were you waiting until this showed up?

I'm not really unsure how many trains come through the area. I got to Campbellville around 8:45am, but this is the only train I saw come at 11am. I left after I saw this train. Last year when I was in Campbellville I know they're was a train at 9:18am heading towards toronto(east) and one that came from Toront(west) and then south at 10:51am. Sadly my camera malfunctioned last year and I had lost my video footage. I'm guessing they're is a regular morning train around 8am, but I missed it and a second around 11am. I hope this help you out alittle.

Railfan99 I'm not sure if you still care, but I'm pretty certain now there is a train around 1pm-2pm from cambridge to hamilton and then returns 4pm-5pm back in cambridge direction. But this my hunch from other experiences I've had in this area in the past year.

Stay away from this area ,few year's ago over 24 trains a day. Now 10 ,only 2 daylight trains scheduled, 246 and 147.

I wonder if it's because the trains are longer then they have ever been. I was hoping to see more, but sometime you get what you get. I must have just missed the 147.
