The whole issue becomes moot if you look at a map. It will be an interesting day, if trudeau’s cabinet of clowns shuts the valves on a few lines specifically going into the USS before heading back North to Quebec. If he thought he had problems before…wait till he has Quebec cold and pissed alongside half of the USA. These clowns have literally no idea how the entire system functions, let alone how a trade war will actually work. Canada is in more danger than they have e ever been….from its own government.

There is no doubt that Carney is the odds on favourite to become LPC leader and PM. I won't be surprised that Carney the climate con man will be pitched as an outsider who can change course, when in fact, he was chosen to provide continuity to the Trudeau-Butts climate agenda, but on steroids. The rest of Canada has never cooperated with Alberta. The other provinces try to shut down our oil and gas production, tax exorbitantly, and deny pipeline so we have access to any market aside from the USA. I don’t think any Alberta will have sympathy for the rest of Canada, and if it’s in Americans interest to give an exemption to oil and gas why not ask for it? The way this country goes whatever profit ALBERTA makes will be syphoned off to the rest of the provinces anyway so stop complaining. I'd say one big problem is this British Commonwealth model where MPs assigned to be ministers at the PM's pleasure. The skills to be elected as an MP are vastly different from those involved in controlling a government bureaucracy. Another is a weak system of checks and balances, so it's too easy to make big decisions for purely partisan reasons.
