Glad BC got 10/10! I've only been to BC and Quebec's buildings so I'm excited to see what you score them. I still can't believe you only have 4K subscribers! You deserve way more

Thank you so much for sharing. I love Quebec's Parliament Building. Absolutely adore it, but I won't give the ranking out just yet. Haha! Thank you for coming back AllycatlovesAG. It really means a lot to see dedicated people returning and enjoy my videos!

I honestly think that the B.C. capital building outranks all 50 US state capitals. It's absolutely stunning to the point where images just cannot do it justice. I got to tour it about 5 years ago & in person it is just mind-blowingly stunning!

It is one of the most beautiful buildings, period! Lol!

It outdoes the federal parliament even I think. It could actually stand in a looks contest against Buckingham Palace and The Kremlin IMO. Technically its called the "BC parliament building" youll find a lot more info if you look it up under that name than if you search "BC capitol" British Columbia was originally envisioned as being a country or dominion all our own so we built a parlaiment building that was worthy of a national government. It's actually a bit bigger than what a provincial size government needs which is why we can be so generous with how much space there is for visitors there. If we ever became independent we already have the appropriate building for a national government

This was a fun video as always! I loved BC's building, especially that Heraldic facade 😍and New Brunswick definitely needs to clean that roof 🤣

Totally! I love the BC Capitol Building. If I could go over everything, this video would have been like 40 minutes (I'm trying to shorten my videos). I know you love heraldry, it figures that building would stand out! lol! Thank you for the kind response.

Could you please make similar videos about the interior?
@AJMSTUDIOSvideo Жыл бұрын
The interior? What do you mean by "the interior?" I love suggestions but a bit of clarification for me please. I am probably missing this because of my own comprehension, lol. EDIT: Oh my gosh. You mean the interior of the buildings! I was thinking geographical terms! Lol! If you meant the interior of the capitol buildings, I may try to do that someday!

That would be cool! I live in Winnipeg and I took a tour of our building and learned a lot about the secrets inside. The architect was a freemason and incorporated numerology and ciphers everywhere. The very center of the building looks like a ritual chamber with a penagram-esque shape in the floor. From the states to the pillars and number of stairs in each room have codes scattered within. Super neat and gives off very "National Treasure" or "DaVinci Code" vibes.

Great ranking! Here's mine: Top tier - grande, unique & clear celebration of local culture/identity: BC: 10/10 Ontario: 10/10 Quebec: 10/10 --- Upper mid-tier: well executed and inspiring National capital Ottawa: 8.5/10 Saskatchewan: 7/10 --- Mid-tier - decent but not unique, overly reliant on trends from U.S. capitals (AB, MN) or U.K. (NS, PEI); NL is neither true Art Deco nor true modernist and falls short of doing either justice Manitoba: 6/10 Nova Scotia: 6/10 Alberta: 5/10 New Brunswick: 5/10 PEI: 4/10 NL: 4/10 --- Low-tier - unfortunately a product of harsh climate, economy and the eras they were built in... I hate to pick on the territories but the capitals are not inspiring NWT: 3/10 Nunavut: 3/10 Yukon: 2/10

I love your ranking! Without giving spoilers, I will say we have some common and differences. You'll find out in the second episode! One thing I think I can say without being a spoiler is YES, I agree. The territories sadly have the weakest buildings representing them. Thanks so much for sharing your scoring of these buildings!
