Well done! Nice to also see how the traffic signals function.

Nowadays we have green & amber arrows, but there was points in the 90's Ontario cheaped out on traffic signals and decided that a rapid flashing green light was a better way to indicate left turns only. In the city I recorded this video in (yes I made this video, got locked out of my account :/) there is only 2 intersections now tha I can think of that show a flashing green light as the left turn signal.

2:57 wow I'm Impressed there's a Way to Stop Traffic for a Train if only other Traffic Signals here in Canada could be Designed for when a Train was coming I be Blown away!
@millenniumman754 жыл бұрын
I am surprised there wouldn't be more of them up there. We have quite a few down here in the States. It just depends on how close they are to intersections. I do have to say that in the first part, I was confused with all the bars coming down as to how many directions were being stopped. lol

That had to have been the pedestrian signal. I have never seen one with extra bars for the walkway/bikeway. Definitely a plus. I am from the States, so seeing up arrows in Canadian signals is rare for me. We see them more here.

Only thing is that our signaling is a little different then american railroads (but even still, US railroads have all kinds of differnet systems from railroad to railroad)

I'm not so sure about that! Most US Gates have the Bell Stop when the Gates go down but here in Canada that doesn't happen it keeps Ringing until the Train Passes and Stops when the Gates go back up!

your Crossbuck in the States is alot Better than what we got in Canada a Red and White X? Really? I like how it say Rail Road Crossing on the X what we have here in Canada is Boring!

Is there a specific horn sequence that is used at crossings in Canada? I'm American so I wouldn't know.

HEY GUYS THIS ACCOUNT I MADE IS NOW ABANDONED, I forgot the email for this account :/ so I will be posting new videos on the channel I am commenting from sometime in December!, thank for all the views and likes and subs, I did not anticipate such a huge amount of views and likes for this video! Sad I couldn't recover this account :( but we can all start fresh :) (* btw now I have a iPhone 7 Plus so the videos will be in a much better frame rate, sound, and resolution compared to my old Alcatel idol 3 that I used for recording this video, will post very soon!*)
