If university degrees and technical courses hasn't no value in Canada as an immigrant on permanent residence visa can afford to pay for a college degree? What is the advantage of living with a minimum wage and an underemployment that does not guarantee the survival of a Brazilian immigrant

Alex... On many vídeos you talked about " survivor job " but even for a Job on Mac Donalds for any person who is not resident or citizen you need a LMIA so what you mean for a " survivor job " ?

Do you think the government will ever change the age criteria of Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) for Express Entry? Isn't that a form of ageism? Many people love the Canadian way of life and would like to immigrate to Canada for reasons other than just making money. Not awarding any points after 44 years of age is a bit harsh.
@mamatasahu4934
@mamatasahu4934 7 жыл бұрын
mydolcevita777 So true... Even for marriage. Many single people get back to their respective countries after their spouse's demands to stay there. But a family guy takes a well thought decision to immigrate only after consulting their families. So why do a married person has to suffer this points biasness in crs? I just don't get the logic 🤔
@theghostedfounder
@theghostedfounder 7 жыл бұрын
Economically it does not make sense that CRS would award points above certain ages. At 44 of age, you're way less likely to adapt to the Canadian Work Environment and by the same token, the potential Canadian co-workers to adapt to you. You're also not likely to pursue any education whatsoever from a Canadian institution (either University degree or Designations). Also, at 44, you're closer to the age of retirement with the difference that you have not contributed enough to the Social Insurance System that helps retirees but as a PR, you will be still entitled to monthly payments. Hence, there is no economic reason and this is not just me telling you, the Government collects great data on this kind of controversial issues to back-up their decision.
@DolceDolce
@DolceDolce 7 жыл бұрын
I get the economic aspect of it concerning to the contribution to retirement under the Social Insurance System. Certainly, that is a valid point and thank you for bringing that up. You mentioned that if the person is older than 44 the Canadian co-worker it is less likely to adapt to them, but I am not sure why will that be an issue when in most workplaces, there is a variety of ages groups even if all employees are Canadians. Your comment did make me think of another point, which is that perhaps all things being equal, a Canadian employer will pick a younger person over an equally qualified person in their forties, so being older may make it a bit harder to find employment. What I don’t agree with is that age is used as a determining factor, just like is not appropriate to use race, gender, religion, etc., age should not be used as a decisive factor. I know people who are younger than 44 (which did get points because of their age) and that have migrated but do not adjust to the new environment no matter what, then they complain about the wages, the weather, discrimination, etc.. Regarding the education, a person in their forties in most cases has completed all their education, but even with a Ph.D. and perfect language skills, it will be very hard to get enough points for an invitation. Furthering their education may not be out of totally the question, given the right opportunities. Many people don’t go further in their education, not because they are not willing but because those opportunities are not as readily available outside of major industrialized countries. I think language skill is a better predictor of adaptability than age. It should be based on something we can control such as our education level and language skills and not on something we can't control such as our age. It just seems contrary to the Canadians’ value of “equal treatment before and under the law, and equal protection and benefit of the law without discrimination.” I am not criticising the Canadian government, I am just suggesting that there is room for improvement.

@@DolceDolce thats well said.. as language skill and the education being the better predictor over the age that we have no control of!! totally contradicts the equality statement!!!

Canada was better before Somalia moved in.... Much better before Hong Kong went back to China and Canada still had Canadians. Quebec should have been deported back in the mid 90's, even if it meant asking America to roll tanks in for deporting all the frogs. It cost me about $1500 cdn for papers, but people that don't deserve them nor are they wanted, can get them, too. Hope Trump is elected to Prime Minister so Canada can sort this out.
