Great - very clear and an excellent knot - will try this on The Black Pig!

Liked your no nonsense approach. To a serious subject. Great tutorial. Secured mid rope with bowline. Like YOUR mooring hitch. "Does it have technical name?" Kindly Noel. Ps. Had a pint in the "Greyhound " at Hawkesbury, two weeks ago. With a broken boat!

This is such a useful and informative vlog. Thanks for showing your knot in such an easy way to understand. It was especially useful that you repeated the knot. I've just been practising!

Great stuff Matthew, thank you! I used to use this knot for a ridgeline for my tarp when out camping, simple and very effective!

Excellent stuff! Are you getting a boat soon? What type of boat are you hoping for? Tell me all about it! Thanks for watching :-)

@@lifeafloat5450 Yes, hopefully. Looking at buying a 57 ft sailaway, and fitting it out myself. Been a bucket-list thing to do, and I am now in a position to do it. Might even set up a vlog.

This the umpteenth version I've seen of what everyone claims to be the canalman's or boatman's hitch !!

I’ll give that a go. I have one knot fixed in my head but that looks far better 👍

What a great video fella! Would you trust that knot to tie an anchor to your T stud of only to moor up ?
