Canal Bridge to Old Town via Mill Lane, Swindon Walk

The walk starts from the finishing point of the previous walk, where the path of the old railway crosses the canal. After crossing the bridge, we drop down to join the canal towpath towards Wichelstowe, before rising again to cross another bridge and join Mill Lane. We walk to the end of Mill Lane where it becomes Westlecot Road, and after a while Springfield Road where we see the entrance to Town Gardens. The walk ends at the junction with Croft Road. This video is another good example of how beautiful countryside and nature exist only a stones throw from our urban environment. See if you can spot the two Muntjac deer!
