I really like kayak fishing ... it's a little more affordable foe everyone to do plus if ya need to stand up to give the lower back a break having a stable kayak or access to different parts of sand bank makes for a pleasant session

Cheers mate, had a few on that day but standard for me is a 2500 reel and either a 2 to 4kg rod around 6ft6 and the other a 3 to 5 kg round 7ft still with a 2500 reel seems to cover all bases. I run braid 10pound with 12 -20 pound flourocarbon depending on the water I'm fishing or if I think some tailor are around I'll go to 25pound flourocarbon

Always am ... I make sure I have some footwear on that I don't mind getting wet just in case
