The gear is absolutely amazing and all my predator rods are now westin from my drop shot to heavy pike . Shame they don’t make reels as I would be all over them

Hej! Är sedan länge ett Westin-fan. Jag tänkte köpa ett Westin Streetstick w3 2nd 8.1 fot 5-15g. Passar det spöt till regnbågs fiske , havsöring och aborre samt mindre gädda? Och passar den ihop med en 2500 rulle eller ska man ha mindre rulle? Mvh

Hi there, yes Street Stick is great and one of our best sellers. Perfect for Perch, Trout, small pike etc 👍🏻 On 8’ rod yes I would go with 2500 size reel 👍🏻

I think it’s a small Japanese reel, 1000 size is main thing I like for light fishing

Great, Informative video. I love the T&C range, I have been using a w3 7-21g for a couple of years now. I’m thinking of getting the 2-10g one. Do you have a 1000 reel on it ? Knowing the rod I have (7-21g) I can use 21g without any problems I would think a little bit heavier wouldn’t be a problem either. Is this the case with the 2-10g also? Best Regards

Yes I like small reels for light lures, short distance casting. Some people like larger it’s really up to you. The 2-10g can probably throw a little more than 10g, but not too much more, that’s where your 7-21g comes in perfectly

which rod from the w6 series should I buy if I want to dropshot at distance and throw with 5 to 7 grams shets?

Hi Edwin! To be honest there are no rod specially made for long range dropshot but try the W6 Dropshot or W6 Finesse T&C 5-15 gram.

Thanks thom as always videos are always spot on. I'm now starting to have more confidence letting the lure drop to the bottom but accepting the fact i will lose lures in the process but im deffo catching more fish rather than just doing straighr retrieves
