Excellent and very informative video, a great first episode Josh. Nice to see the reasons behind the cutting. We went through that "tunnel" last year on our trip, didn't know it was so close to the railway either! Keep 'em coming!

Really interesting Josh, you’re taking over from Colin! I like the boating and cooking vids, especially with the cats but am looking forward to more of these. 👍🏻😊

Splendid discovery. Drone footage really made the difference. Canals where made in feet and yards, so meters do sound out of place.

It's good to see the history of the areas you cruise into. It will be good to see more on the history of areas around the canals. Good your mum got to see it in the end.

IT WAS ONCE A BRICKYARD...19th century brick kiln adjacent to the canal. Warwickshire Industrial Archaeology Society have carried out extensive documentary research. A brickyard was built here to exploit the clay produced by the building of the Fenny Compton Tunnel (PRN4371). A kiln was built in 1840-1 and continued production until 1917. The remains of the kiln are extant.
