A Head regulator provided at the head of the off taking channel, controls the flow of water entering this new channel while a cross regulator may be required in the main parent channel Downstream Of The Of Taking Channel, Sir isme last vali line downstream of the off taking channel likhne ka kya mtlb he... एक होता है upstream जहा से पानी आता है और एक होता है downstream जिधर पानी बहता है तो जिस side पानी जा रहा है तो हम उस parent channel मतलब जहा साल भर पानी बहता है उसके downstream side में एक barrier बना कर पानी को रोकेंगे ताकि पानी का level ऊँचा हो और वो पानी head regulator के हेड से होते हुए off taking channel में जा सके, उस barrier को हम cross regulatar कहते है और इसमें जो gate होगें वो नीचे side होगा
