Does anyone else find themselves searching for different live performances of this song? I find myself captivated by every different performance. This song is such a journey and they all seem to have so much fun playing it! It has quickly turned into one of my favorite songs by them, and the live version with the extended outro has to be recorded! I'd listen to it all the time!

This is easily my favorite song by QOTSA, it reminds me of nights when I would drive around downtown Columbus, OH at 3am blasting this tune...alone, high out of my mind, windows down feeling the cool summer breeze blow on my face, and thinking about the mistakes I've made in life that have cost me my wife of 13 years and everything I love. A little off topic here but hopefully someone can learn from my mistakes before it's too late...but as good as drugs can make you feel, don't touch anything other some good ole Mary Jane, especially opiates. It's not worth losing your soulmate and the love of your life over some dope, that perfect girl might only come around once in a lifetime. I'm sorry my love, I never meant for our love story to end this way and I don't know if I will ever be able to get over this guilt...so if I go missing and no longer exist, one day I hope I'm someone you'd miss...

Sethel Willi That was the most beautiful and sad thing I think I’ve ever read in a KZbin comment section. This song reminds me a lot of a lost love as well. My relationship didn’t end in as tragic of circumstances as yours from what I can tell, but boy can I say that you’re story hits me hard. I feel like we’ve shared an experience through this song without ever having known each other. Stay strong my man. As long as you keep trying, there will be people that recognize and appreciate that. Maybe one of those people will be the one you fall in love with.
@sethelwilli77117 жыл бұрын
Jarrad Evans thank you for saying that man, it means a lot. You have no clue how a random comment from a stranger on KZbin can give you hope when you feel lost. Still trying to find my way out of this dark time in my life, but I’m sober and starting to see some light. Sorry you went through something similar...I wouldn’t wish the pain of love lost on my worst enemy. Thank you again man...be safe and take it easy..

Lachie55 Watch what their fingers are doing + pedal work. Josh is doing most of the solo + using his digitech whammy from what I can tell (it's clearly some sort of octave up, maybe even two). Troy's definitely doing leads there too, but most of it's definitely Josh.
@onlinetuna9 жыл бұрын
Trom Bon True, I might have been a bit quick in my assessment. Watched the start of the solo, listened to the rest. Starts out with mostly Troy and ends up as a 50/50 type thing lol! I should change by initial comment to 'and troy...'
