hi chris. i have been feeding my red pair red egg food daily for quite a while. iis this too much.

I would vary the amounts and frequency of your eggs veggies are ok for daily consumption but if egg is fed too much it can cause fatty liver issues or overweight issues down the road. When my birds are resting I usually cut back on the amount of eggs that I supply to just a couple times a week instead of daily.

When both birds are ready to breed, is the male pretty aggressive towards the female? I don’t know if it’s a territory aggression from the male or if this is normal breeding ritual?

It could be that the male is ready to breed but the female isn't so the male is becoming aggressive. You can separate them in different cages but let them see each other and that can help the female come into breeding condition faster then put them back together after a few weeks.

If you want you can pair them together. The one thing that I have learned with canaries is that 1) the colors can get (muddied) up really fast when crossing different colors together and 2) that Brown is very dominant so if you were to pair those two together then you would most likely have all brown babies that look similar to your cock. But, with that being said we didn't get all of these new colors and breeds of canaries from never crossing colors together. So I would leave it up to you my friend.

What do u feed ur canary during non breeding season? What do u feed them when breeding season is coming in a month??? Can i feed them with boiled eggs during non breeding season?

During non breeding season I will feed the canaries a pretty bland diet mostly consisting of seeds every once in a while I will give them a hard boiled egg with some greens. During breeding season I will feed them hard boiled eggs with fresh veggies and some fruits on a daily basis.

I haven't yet but, I am thinking that next breeding season i will try it out. I have heard that the colors can get a little muddy with mixing some of them together so I am Cautious of crossing the breeds, but at the same time I'm curious about it and want to try it out to see what i can get.

Then don't put the male in with her or more than likely they will fight. Continue increasing the light every month and continue increasing their egg food each week to help her come into breeding

Why can't we pair same blood line canary? Like mother to son or daughter to father? I asked to some breeder they practice this experience and find no complications. Ur comment plz

In-breeding or breeding a daughter or son to their parents isn't recommended because they will produce weaker offspring that are more susceptible to diseases in the future. Breeders will breed sons and daughters to their parents many times if they want a specific color to continue or maybe even the size of the birds. The way I look at it is, I wouldn't want to have sex with my mom so why would I make my birds do too.

When you inbreed, you bring out the recessive (bad genes) that carry. So their babies will have worse genes that if you breed outside on the family

Could be that they are too young. Do you have 2 females together or is it for sure male and female?
