Thanks for the awesome vids mate. I like doing tracks around the ACT as I live just north of Goulburn. Will have to check those ones out soon 👍

Thanks! The area is worth checking out. We spent half a day. Are there any areas worth exploring up your way??? We are always interested in spots close to Canberra.
@MossyTomb5 жыл бұрын
@@OutdoorsCBR Sure is! should head to Abercrombie River NP and maybe to the east of that Mount Werong and north of that is Kanagra Boyd NP. Around the Southern Highlands has a few state forests as well. I'd recommend Maryla SF but it can be pretty tough.

That climb you saw on 4:47, lucky you didn't try it 😂 I was out there with a few mates a couple of months ago and one of us went up the left side, it goes up for about 800m+ then ends and it is nearly impossible to turn around, my mate tried and almost rolled, took us about an hour to get him turned back into a position so that he could reverse it down. Not to mention this was about 10pm at night 😂 1.5hours it took to get him down safe.

Please accept my late note Difficult conditions, well done... I love where Ledbrook won't take his car... no where! He should buy a second set of wheels with Muddies for your trips, although hard with the size restraints

Accepted 😀 was certainly greasy. Yes the Disco needs some new shoes that's for sure. The next set will be the Coopers ST MAXX.

Nice vid guys once again. Yeh, those coopers on Ledbrooks disco aren't the best. I've seen quite a few of them in the past and they struggle every single time. Still though, it's a lot of fun.

Hi guys. Great vid. Thanks. Was planning a day trip to Flea Creek next weekend. Can you give me some advise regarding the track to Flea Creek from Canberra?. Am new to off road, only have basic BT50 (street tyres but was going to lower pressure etc.). Cheers.
@OutdoorsCBR5 жыл бұрын
It is a popular track and gets maintained, so you should be fine in any 4wd. Probably a different story in the wet. It would be a little harder when it hasnt been graded in a while, but a great trail to start out on.
@OutdoorsCBR5 жыл бұрын
Yep, lower pressures a bit and go have fun. The picnic area down there is awesome.

Man, I have to wait for my bar to arrive before mounting a winch and just want to do some basic tracks in the brindies but I can't find any info on tracks or difficulty levels out there that a basically stock dmax could tackle for a little fun until the part get here 😥
@OutdoorsCBR4 жыл бұрын
Just go exploring. Your car will be fine anywhere in the Brindies. Some of the powerline tracks are pretty full on, might be best to leave those alone.
@matthewwhite8764 жыл бұрын
@@OutdoorsCBR cheers mate, yep I went out, pretty busy, drove the powerline trail, mt corree and waterfall to McIntyre, the dmax handled it easily I was surprised the tracks are actually pretty easy, last decent into the hut is a bit steep but was a good day 🤘🏻 even had a play under the lines before flee creek now the new suspension is in

I am not sure where exactly you were - south of Cotter Dam between Paddy's River Road and Brindabella Road - where the rally cars go in summer? Great video.

Not near Brindabella Rd. South of the dam, along Paddys River Rd.
@Liam-ly8rv5 жыл бұрын
What tyre pressure did you use out there? Did you need to drop more as the rain came in?
@OutdoorsCBR5 жыл бұрын
Yeah i'd say so. Could have dropped more in the Disco once it was in the water bar, but doubt it would have got out. Colorado had less pressure and handled most things better.

Nice work lads. Was that last one black hill? One of my favourites out the cotter
@OutdoorsCBR4 жыл бұрын
Yeah not 100% sure of the name of it. But its that long straight one on the south west corner of the cotter plantations. Its a pearler in the wet

@@OutdoorsCBR yeah nice mate. I think it was black hill especially if you can loop around to take the easy way. Is there a fire tower at the top on the right if coming up the hard way. If so then yeah boi that's black hill and black hill tower. 👍 good vid boys

Are you able to give any directions to the pipeline track? I’ve been all the way from the cotter to tidbinbilla and back and even up to the ranges nearby and no luck in finding anything :(

From memory take the first right hander off the tar at the top of the steep hill after you leave the cotter picnic area. Explore in there but kinda keep as close to the water as you can.

@OutdoorsCBR5 жыл бұрын
What's an adventure bike? Is that like a Dakar style moto? I reckon it would be. It's just the very top that gets pretty rocky. But theres plenty of spots to turn around if it looks to sketchy. It also depends on the riders ability a bit.

@@OutdoorsCBR i had them on my R51. Had one splt the case in the tread going into Bendethera lower pressures and all. Coopers here in Cqnberra did me a "deal" under warranty for some LT ones as aparrenty the ones I had were an illegal import (IE not imported by them) not LT. They only lasted about 60k and were lethal in the wet. The bloody standard road Bridgestones that came on tue car were far better on and off road and I never split a case!!
