The validity of his points aside, this organizer made up a rule on the spot just to ban a player that was guaranteed a payout at that point in an attempt to look good. That is unprofessional behavior and should not be replicated by anyone.

@@Thanosdidtherighthing He set the rules, but there was no rule against taunting of any kind. All entrants agreed to play under the ruleset before the tournament started, so making up a new rule in the middle of a game breaks that agreement. The banned player also has proof of lost revenue, so there is a legitimate unfair practices lawsuit if any contracts were signed.

Rather, he thought he could score some points with his chat by trying to do the "right" thing. Realized his mistake and shut it down before it made him look worse. The worst part is, if he cared so much, why didn't he just ask the other player if it was alright? Regardless of if he had known if they were friends or not. and if not, 1 warning. All he had to do was 3 seconds of critical thinking.

As someone who always found "teabagging" obnoxious and annoying since the day it started, I am far more annoyed and upset by Cancel Culture antics like this. This guy who got the player banned is basically the grown version of the tattletale kid who gleefully runs around telling on people to get them in trouble. People also have so many ignorant takes on Cancel Culture, from the one mentioned of it only being "Right Wing" people that are mad about it, to calling it "consequence culture" as if the punishments are always equal to the offence. Even with some people who acknowledge Cancel Culture, but somehow keep thinking that it's losing power, or they can't cancel you if you don't let them...Yeah, that doesn't always work out, as in this case.

@Jj im a pretty straightforward guy, if someone were to ask me my opinion on the matter I would tell them the truth in love. But in this context, no I wasn't talking about gay people. Just the common human pride that puts one's self above another. That inhibits a person from seeing the error of their own ways. The kind of pride that points out the evil in others but refuses to acknowledge the evil in themselves. Pure self righteous pride like that is disgusting.

@Jj Even though you may think these things of me, I'm willing to give you the good news, the gospel if you will. But here's the bad news first, everyone has sinned and come short of the glory of God. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. If you shall confess that you are a sinner and that Jesus Christ is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart, a man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. Despite our differences, in love I tell you there is forgiveness for you. All you have to do is receive it and believe. God bless

Here's the thing, I believe the person that calls out the comunity when they have bad takes and stands up when our platform is in danger not the person who keeps making the same Videos about some expensive product and says nothing, no matter how dangerous our platform may be in and just sweep it under the rug, a mentality that mak3s me very angry. Here's the illlogic that pisses me off most.If Rick, or cody, for example, says that most cases there against cancel culture, the internet automatically thinks that cancel culture doesn't exist. If people get anxiety or loose sleep over a videogame, I'd hate to see them get anxiety about when there next meal is or actual legit danger. from someone who gets anxiety or depression, losing sleep or mental sanity over a video game is more insulting than any video game i might get tired of. If I am frustrated over a videogame cuz I can't get past it, I don't complain on KZbin, get so much anxiety as to ruin someone else's carer. I turn off the game and come back to it later, or I don't play at all. That's a lesson I learned at 10 b4 KZbin existed, in 2004, and I wasn't this extreme and wouldn't go whining on the internet. It really makes me sad how spoiled and entitled social media can make us.
