You also have to factor in the money that you lose with 45k@0% for an undisclosed amount of time since the car is far from being there. You are lending money for free to Tesla in order to simply buy something at some point in the future. The point is the IRS needs to be able to know where the funds are going and coming from to combat illegal activity

26 minutes is about the time it took me to try to cancel my mastercard, before they offered me $85 credit by switching to a different one without an annual fee. It took me 55 minutes to get a walk in conformation service approved for my Model 3 the day after I got it. I thought I had a rim leak, but I was unlucky enough to roll over a screw on the first day of ownership. It was very cold that day, so I did try to see where the leak was coming from, but didn't spot the screw that went into the sidewall. At first I thought it was bad luck, but a book I was reading at the time kinnda hinted towards unfortunate events on the road to personal and financial change. Since then, my Model 3 has been amazing and I don't regret it one bit. Congrats on the founders edition, by the way. I am amazed by the generosity of Tesla for referrals, but it is becoming more obvious how much more successful marketing works on a peer to peer basis vs the conventional methods so many other companies have been relying on for decades.

Online the Tesla app, once you click on cancel order, it shows nothing, no record. I don't remember which credit card i use to place the order, how can i get my money back????

It sucks... my question is, when did you get the referral code, is it after placing your reservation? If yes, maybe the code is link to your reservation accnt once they deactivate it because you have cancelled it, you no longer have an accnt with them meaning no referrals. Maybe its in the terms and condition for the referral program... either go call them back and make some clarifications or check the terms and conditions of rhe referral program

If that was the case the Tesla representative should have told him the consequences of his canceling. Paying off a credit card, canceling a credit card, and other debts work the same way. They let you know the results of the pay-off or cancellation. Tesla wasn't thorough enough but maybe they will fix his problem and note that issue for others who may also want to cancel an order after qualifying for a free car.

I've never heard of customer service just sitting there saying nothing, not even "please hold" before the pause lol... Usually they have to keep saying something so you know you're still connected / they're still working on it.. Maybe your little icon went missing for a bit, because they were working on getting your new order done for you..
