Surely you are not familiar with her story. She comes from very humble, modest circumstances. Her father battled MS her entire childhood. Both Ms. Obama and her brother did exceptionally well in college and in their careers. Both attended Princeton undergrad. Her brother is a collegiate basketball coach. Ms. Obama went on to law school. Not a life of privilege, but certainly lives of achievement, public service, and continued mentorship and support of young people and the public good.
