With all due respect…many misguided informations in this interview- 1. The guest got confused between science journalism and publishing research articles. He thinks these are same but in reality they are very different. 2. The reason for brain drain is not having enough research positions in India and not the topics of research. 3. Nature indexes are not based on views and likes but they are based purely on citations and consequently journal impact factors. India is falling behind not because of language but because of good fundamental research. China is on top because they publish is high impact factor journals (in English, by the way) and publishing in high impact factor journals naturally brings your more citations because of their reputation and wider reach.
