Thanks for the review - thinking of getting it for my eldest grandson (after inititally being tempted myself!). BTW @5:52 you didn't need to pick up the 1xBlue - it could've been done with the yellow in c3/d3/e3/d4 and the orange in the last section

If two corner squares were isolated it would be impossible. But perhaps the dice don't allow that.

A video of you playing against someone would be interesting. You could use 2 cameras, or just record one at time and use a timer rather than doing it simultaneously.

Could you check roll dices? Just to see if there is any combination possible to be forced to put cilinders around any corner, so the 1x1 tetris piece must be forced to go onto a corner... and if threre are two of them, so a no solution state can be reached. I am afraid that roll dices indicate special positions, in other words, some positions on the board will never have a cilinder on it, said in other words, roll dices faces does not cover the whole board. It would be great to see what possitions of the board are not in roll dices faces.
@CanChrisSolve
@CanChrisSolve 4 жыл бұрын
You are correct! The dice have specific grid squares on them so that certain squares are never hit, and impossible combinations never rolled :)

@@CanChrisSolve If you look varefully, some dices have the same Coordinate on more than one face, like Coordinate A6; but does have two different dices the same coordinate? It may be interesting to check how many different positions can be getted by each dice individually and see if threre is a pattern, like dice 1 only points to one part of the board, etc. From the mathematical point of view it could be interesting to be analyzed.... remembering that the board has a 90º rotation equivalence... so the main question could be how many of all combinations can be obtained that are not equivalent just by rotating the board 90º, 180º, 270º. The puzzle mention the number of different combinations, but maybe some of them are equivalent (identical after rotating the board). And also not to forget, simetries, vertical/horizontal mirror, etc.
