This one is probably my favorite version of what you've posted of this piece. Historically informed phrasing, pitch and tempo. The sound quality was superb too. Could even make an iTunes album out of these pieces someday. Liked and shared.

Thanks Josh! I appreciate you giving it a listen - I've tossed around the idea of doing an "album" to release on various platforms. Maybe like a Tárrega/Llobet album or something. I'd probably never be 100% happy with the recordings though haha.

@@FS.2772.guitar Thank you for the vote of confidence, Felix haha. Did you hear my two different recordings of Canço del Lladre? One without the new tornavoz and one with?

I enjoyed that! I don't know these pieces by Llobet at all.

Thanks Yair! These little Llobet arrangements are such treasures.

Lovely!!! Great rendition of this gem! Bravo Tate! And this sweet , warm sound of your guitar ....I'm getting really addicted to it! What would you get for your Santis if you wanted to sell it? Best wishes Stefan
@tateharmann3057 Жыл бұрын
Thanks Stefan! I think the max would be (if I'm patient according to a friend that knows a lot about these guitars) maybe 2k USD. More realistically, though, probably in the 1-1.5k range. These guitars are a great value for vintage instruments and recently they've been increase in value and interest. Of these Valencian shops, though, the ones that generally fetch the most are the Andres Marin and Salvador Ibanez. The Sanchis along with the Telesforo Julve shop are more like medium "grade" instruments. And then there's the very undervalued ones like the Tatay shop. Good guitars can be found in all of those ranges, though! I've got a Telesforo Julve as well along with a few recordings of it on my channel. Thanks again!

I love your sound ... Do you play whithout nails ? Have you some sheets of José Maria Sierra ? Best regards
@tateharmann3057Ай бұрын
Thank you - I appreciate that! Yes I play without nails. Are you asking if I have some sheet music of J.M. Sierra's compositions? I have seen a number of them in archives of the French magazine 'Guitare et Musique'.
@jeromedavion8086Ай бұрын
@@tateharmann3057 Yes, It's possible to find some compositions of Sierra in the Guitare et musique" magazine. But I research other compositions edited in "Chodens editions". He was the professor of mine. Thanks ;-)

@@jeromedavion8086 Wow that’s incredible thank you so much for sharing! Feel free to share any stories about your professor that you would like. Do you know who his preferred guitar builder or string maker was? Thanks!
@jeromedavion8086Ай бұрын
@@tateharmann3057 José was not my professor but the professor of my professeur. He must stop playing guitar because he caught the Dupuytren desease. A very good guitar player whose name in KZbin channel is "Cyrloud" was his student.
