I like the 426Hz pitch on this one. That's what Luigi Attademo used for his Llobet recordings in "A Spanish Portrait," also with gut strings, but on a de Torres guitar, so I suppose it's a familiar sound to me. Definitely an authentic sound, at the very least. Maybe add in some vinyl crackle or shellac hiss and then you could probably pass this off as a pre-War recording, ha ha. So what was it with which you were unhappy in performing this piece? Slight phrasing, etc.?

Thanks Josh! I actually used 426hz because of your comment on my other Leonesa recording. You said it was an agreeable compromise between 432 and 420! Yes, just phrasing and some slurs that weren't as defined as I'd liked them to be.
