I took a solo trip to Cancun, Mexico and stayed at an awesome hostel, rather than a resort. I found this video in 2018 and have stayed in this hostel a few times each winter for the last few years. It has changed a whole lot. It's much better now. This video showed me how cool hostels are and inspired me to travel solo through the Riviera Maya, which I absolutely love.

I was debating between Mezcsl hostel and Hostel Natura..but I believe I will choose this one I will be traveling alone for my first time and I'm nervous..

I highly recommend this hostel for solo travellers! It's natural to be nervous but don't worry it's easy to meet people and really safe :)

can you tell us tips on how to get airport transfer to the hostel and and currency exchange. Did you use the us dollars? or converted? once you left the hostel did you have to know some spanish or you have alot of english speaking people around you? thank you.

Hi! From the airport, I took the public bus that goes to downtown Cancun. From the bus terminal downtown, it's a short walk to the hostel. I exchanged Canadian dollars (I'm Canadian) to pesos at the airport. Everyone speaks English, so knowing Spanish isn't required, but you should definitely try to learn even a few words. Enjoy your trip!

Athanasie Munya Bus stop to the beach you mean? 25 mins or so. The hostel is located in downtown Cancun.
