Candi Girl Sabina and Candi Girl Carlin Review

Even though I agree the Carlin is better in quality, I don't think the Sabina's are that fragile! I'm definitely not 100 pounds but the composite holds well. I've been skating outdoors too and they're fine on asphalt. Not the best but definitely am able to skate ok. My wheels came very stiff too but after loosening them up they got so much better. I can definitely see the Sabina's limitations but they're fine for a beginner. I plan to upgrade either way but I don't think they're thaaat bad.

Thanks for the info. Yes, the 100lb is not exact and I'm glad they are working out for you. Just be careful loosening the wheels too much as the axles and bearings are not the best.

I wish I'd seen this before I purchased. I bought the Sabinas but I am a big girl and now I am scared. I'm confused too, because the wheels on mine spin great and I didn't have to loosen anything. So idk :( should I sell them and buy new ones?

@@emelymyles Honestly I've been skating 1 hour everyday on mine since januart and have had absolutely no issues so far. I wouldn't do anything crazy on them (jumping off stairs, going on ramps etc) because I don't think they are ideal for that. but I don't mind because I'm not interested in doing that anyway.. but for cruising, jam skating or artistic dance I think they're fine for beginners xx

Ijust hot my Sabinas yday and tried them out at a park here in tampa. I have no issues so far buy i may upgrade in about 3 months. Im a beginnet skater after about 20 years of not skating. I judt looden the wherls a little and rollef on. I Honestly, I don't think the Sabinas are bad. I purchased mine from roller derby site took 2 weeks to receive

I really like the sabina skates, I’m 5’3 and 150 pounds, most of my skating is indoors and the occasional cruising outdoors nothing crazy, should I still stick with the carlins?

Hi, the new Sabina's look like they have better bearings and wheels then the previous model (one's in my review). I say give it a try. Let me know. I haven't seen the new one's in person yet.

Hello I looking to buy a pair of skates for recreational and as a from of exercise. I have a fairly wide foot about 4 1/2 inch. The length is about 10 1/4. I wear a 8.5 in men's (vans) I think thats a 10 in woman. I always have extra room in the front of my shoes to compensate width of my foot. I weigh 330 not sure if that matters but do you have any skates suggestions for someone like me? Thanks in advance

I have a similar problem because of wide feet. I use these tongue pads www.amazon.com/dp/B0030KSCCA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_Bw3-Fb4M1M9FF?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1. Highly recommend them. Will make it fit better and can size to width of foot and they are cheap.

@@EricaJoi2013 should fit like shoes. If you want a wide boot however you with have to go with a Riedell boot i belive. You can get the Riedell Angel in wide in a men's boot. Maybe call them just make sure they have good return policy
