The more I mature, the more I lose the need to perform or to overexert myself to show my worth or value, and go inward to find the true God given worth and value as a part of me being nature. Trees don’t compete, don’t perform, they just be and in their beingness, they are beautiful and hold their own unique value in nature.

When Candice demonstrated the short prayer we say when we avoid prayer "Oh Thank you Lord" and go to sleep, I felt seen. The way we think we cheat God but forget that we are cheating ourselves what God is willing to do with and for us. We cheat ourselves in having a connection with the Holy Spirit
