This reminds me of when I was a child and the family took a road trip leaving our home of Vancouver, BC... Well, when we came to Vancouver ( Washington), my dad jokingly said, "Look we're back in Vancouver!" and I broke out crying because I thought we'd gone in a big circle to come back home with no vacation in sight.

That reminded me of the time we were headed to Cape Cod... and our little daughter was so excited. When we finally got there, my wife looked at the "Welcome to Cape Cod" sign, and said, "Oh no... Cape Cod is CLOSED!". Our little girl just started crying... it was awful... wrong... but so funny. My wife feels bad about the "joke" to this day. Adults can be so evil.

That was awesome! Reminds me of something I saw on Facebook a few months ago. There was a guy somewhere (seems like he lives somewhere in Arizona) who lives right beside a major airport and he owns a huge piece of property. He painted: "Welcome to Alabama" (I believe that was the state he used for his prank) in huge letters on the ground. So all the passengers landing in Arizona were tricked into thinking they were in the wrong state. Yes, I realize you'd have to be pretty gullible to fall for it (considering the landscape of Arizona looks NOTHING like Alabama), but as you know, people can truly be quite gullible these days.
