CANDIDASA - VIRGIN BEACH - VLOG 011 - Bali 2022

Heading up the east coast of Bali, escaping Sanur, heading to CANDIDASA, a quiet coastal Balinese village with a lot to offer. Amanda and I venture over to Virgin Beach or otherwise known as White Sand Beach. We also take you snorkling and see hundreds of colourful reef fish.

Great vlog guys 🥰 We've been to Candi dasa twice and loved it. Stayed at Bayshore villas and also at a stunning villa called villa Pantai. Can highly recommend both 🙏🏖️🌺🌴🏝️

We love Candidasa almost as much as those little fish love bread. They love it more than they love the algae which grows on coral. They should be eating the algae, keeping the coral clean and their tiny ecology in balance. A few years ago, we visited Gili Sudak (South Lombok), a popular little island for local day-trippers. The snorkeling was diabolical. The reef was dead, suffocated by algae thanks to fish being retrained to wait for bread-wielding tourists (they're not as stupid as we assume). The guys running the hotel tried to give us bread for the fish and were shocked when we declined. Please don't let this happen to Blue Lagoon. Kids, say no to bread :)

Hi, Just wondering what I would expect to pay for a similar trip like this one, 2 hours with Yogi. We would use him for sure when we get there in October
