I am sorry about the thumbnail, I had too much fun making it.
An unjustifiable amount of time was spent grinding for this, so why not make it a vid ;-;
While waiting for processing, here's some details for cnc players:
King's Beacon:
Damages enemies in front of Molli and equips her with a crown that can damage enemies when jumping at them from below. Wraiths slain with the crown become allies (up to 6), but vanish upon losing 4 HP.
Personal comments:
The crown is awesome and makes up for the weakness of beam type weapons. Wraith allies are a huge plus too. Fun!
Hot Head's Chamberstick:
Molli is engulfed in enchanted fire, increasing her fire resistance, and five fire wisps orbit Molli, damaging enemies. Wisps are snuffed out when they destroy an enemy, but quickly respawn.
Personal comments:
Don't really like this one. Having to wait for wisps to respawn makes it kinda hard to use, and is hard to maintain chains. (Maybe skill issue) Its like every hit creates a temporary weakness. Benefit would be that you don't have to aim when all wisps are fully charged, and there is pretty significant fire dmg reduction.
Necro Scythe:
Swings a blade in the direction of the player's swipe. Has a chance to summon Bubble Gum Bones to aid you (up to 6), but are destroyed when Molli takes damage. Bubble Gum Bones will spawn a poison puddle in the place they vanish.
Personal comments:
I like blade types in general. The bone allies are useful as well, usually with a nice distribution that is guaranteed to be useful.
Worm Light:
Damages enemies in front of Molli and every 6 ghosts defeated, a candy bon bon will spawn and trail behind Molli (up to 4). Bon bons damage enemies on contact, and occasionally fires projectiles. The tail end piece will explode when Molli takes damage.
Personal Comments:
This one kinda grew on me, the tail can be pretty fun.
Although, I don't think this helps much in granting accessibility. Where the tail goes, Molli goes first. Projectiles aren't major too. Maybe I just don't know how to use it, but I think King's Beacon is better.
Jack'o Slash Blade:
Swings a blade in the direction of the player's swipe. Every 6 ghosts slain spawns a bomb that explodes upon being slashed up (up to 4). Slashing 3 of these bombs will charge your blade, allowing Molli to unleash a powerful vine attack.
Personal comments:
My favourite weapon :)
Taking out whole rows in one shot, being able to control these attacks and the sheer frequency of these bombs. Awesome.
I woudn't even mind if they removed the vine attack, that's just the cherry on top.
Phantom's Lantern:
Candy spheres orbit Molli, damaging any enemy that touches them. Candy spheres charge up with every ghost slain- reaching max charge will put Molli into Overdrive, greatly increasing the rotation speed of the candy spheres for a short time. Unleash Sugar Storm by slaying 15 ghosts while in Overdrive.
Personal Comments:
eh. Perhaps in comparison to other lanterns this is way better, I think it has a bigger hitbox too. But I'm not much of a lantern fan, the overdrive is neat but otherwise its just like a normal lantern. Even during overdrive, it doesn't help as much as I'd like it to. I think idea of this is to be able to run around aimlessly and easily kill everything you crash into, but I still have to avoid tons of obstacles like puddles, projectiles, and that knight with the long sword.
