I have this one! It’s the prettiest thing ever I have a large woodwick candle and fits perfectly other lamps didn’t fit even close. So easy to install had a very nice box for the package, unboxing experience was amazing. Timer made me feel even safer. 10/10 in the design, it’s so chic and classy. No soots no flames no tunneling in my candles, this is truely an art! Hestia is a brand to look out for!

Hi Melanie! Great video! I have the warmer that you featured and out of 3 models that I own, it's my favorite. It also fits the Kringle tall 2-wick candle. I think I mentioned this the other day, but my husband's parents & my parents have transitioned to the candle lamp. We think it's a great option for issues with memory, safety & even mobility (over burning candles, which they all did earlier on). I've returned candles to burning (back & forth) over the years, but judiciously - only partially liquefied, trimming wicks, pulling wick tops (tops only) with candle-hook tool back into place. I like the dimmer on this model too; if candle starts to become cloying or over-powering, I turned the light down a bit. Thanks so much for the great review! We're socked in here in Texas with ice & snow, so nice day for candle burning or warming. Alfie picture at your feet the other day was too cute. *~*~ Have a great day! ;-))

This is sooo nice, I just got two of them! I am a cat and a 10 year old kid constantly running around the house. So I never really used candles except for when my boy goes to school. Now this is the exact solution to the problem. I read somewhere that there is about 20,000 house fires from candles annually and I think this might be the best alternative out there. Plus I've seen other candle warmers out in Amazon and I realized that most of them either don't have a timer (which I think is awesome because I usually forget to blow out the fire when I go out) or none of them have a height adjustable function! This is truly a genius idea. I think every household should have one of these products. Thanks so much for the content!

Great video! I have 2 different candle lamps from Candle Warmers, Etc. They are nice and well made but I like yours even more! Mine don't have the timer, dimmer or adjustable top which now that you mention it seems genius. LOL They only downside, at least with my lamps, is they take a good couple hours to get a good wax pool. On a positive note, I would say they make your candles last longer as well. I also feel like a light candle does better under the lamp just like the crocks. Now, please excuse me while I go order one like yours! 🤣

Thank you so much for posting this video Melanie! I truly had no idea such things even existed!! Although honestly, I didn't even know what a candle crock was until I started watching your candle videos 😬🤷🏻♀️😂 but now that I've gone down the rabbit hole of candle lamps, I'm probably going to get the black one with the timer 😉. And just to let you know, when I clicked on the link, it says that the offer has been automatically added to my cart and will be good through 3/3/2022!! I haven't checked out yet so I can't say for sure if that's true but once I check out, I'll update my comment to let everyone know for sure.

So I haven’t found a video about candle lamps that answers this question yet. I don’t burn candles in the summer which in Chicago is only roughly 3 months because the flame of course provides heat to my home when I’m trying to keep it as cool as possible for my Alaskan malamutes. My question is does this lamp provide nearly as much heat as burning a candle does? I hope to get a response from you 🙃 We have months to go before summer comes though lol

If you are looking for similar strength to a candle burning that is going to be hard to compare. It's going to vary based on the amount of fragrance oils in the candle I think. Generally I get slightly more strength from my crocks but you are melting the entire candle that way and may go through your candles faster. I do find that I get a longer performance with the lamp because I am melting layer by layer but stronger performance with the crock on average (again, that will depend on the candle company). I hope that helps.

I just got my first warmer and im so disappointed after hearing so many people say they make throw stronger and mine actually makes it weaker. Ive been experimenting with a lot of candles. Melting vs burning. The burning always smells a lot stronger than melting :( it is at least a safe alternative but im just not getting enough throw. I wonder if my warmer is just not the right wattage or something 🤔 wish i could smell yours and see if mine just sucks!
@MrKongsMom Жыл бұрын
Which one did you get? What is the wattage? Does it actually have that wattage of bulb in your unit? Do you have it lowered to right over the candle? It is true that you may not experience some candles at the same strength as you do burning them but its a safer alternative and can deal with problem candles. I am always burning alongside my crocks and my lamps. They perform great for me but you will be variation based on the candle.

@@MrKongsMom I got from cozyberry. I had heard good things but I'm going to try one off of candle warmers. Funnily enough. I had bought a melter on Amazon and couldn't smell a thing.. I bought a melter from candle warmers and now I realize my wax melts do work cause it kicks ass. So I'm wondering if the same thing will happen with the candle warmer quality. 🙏🏻 Mine says 50watt I believe. That's the bulb at least and I've tried moving it closer, having it dimmed, and having it full strength. Using a variety of strong candles. So sad.. I'm glad YOU at least don't say candles throw stronger on a warmer. I was under that impression cause everyone and their mother says that! But glad to hear maybe I'm not crazy and they really don't get magically super strong on a warmer 😅
@MrKongsMom Жыл бұрын
@@taylornation320 Oh no, I would never say stronger. In a crock and if the candle struggles burning, yes it can smell stronger. But lamps typically not stronger. You'll get something but nothing earth shattering. Again, it's just another tool for problem candles for me. I get a good performance but I do prefer to burn.
@taylornation320 Жыл бұрын
@@MrKongsMom thank you for your honesty!! You are legit the first person to say this. Maybe people have their minds playing tricks on them. Im a big part of the candle community and it's crazy how many people think they are stronger on a warmer but I feel like that doesn't even make sense. Heat from flame should probably make the fragrance oils come out the most. And a crock I could see cause they get piping hot. I appreciate you telling me your experience with it cause I was getting so pissed at my warmer but I think that's just the way it is. I think Ill be staying a burner and wax melter ☺️ and keep the warmer for problem candles such as yourself

Just like you, Melanie, I have a candle lamp, waiting for me on Amazon's shopping cart 😋 I'm usually drawn to the vintage lantern style (mostly, in black or brass). However, I have to admit, that height adjustment feature is a brilliant thing & so unique! I've never seen this feature in any other candle lamp before, which makes me look again for the ultimate model - both romantic & retro and adjustable as well 😶🌫 #TheStruggleIsReal

Loved the video Melanie! I'm only a "burner" in the fall & winter, once spring arrives, I'm strictly a melter, well I melt all year long. I know you buy your melter's from Scentsy, but I'm wondering if any of you subbies who have purchased "element" warmers from other brands. Why do the stupid ass cords come out the front like where the light is, so you know it's on? It is the stupidest thing I've ever scene! Subbies, got any input? I did get a really cute element melter from christmas, it has paw prints on it, CUTE AS HECK and the cord comes out the back like it should!

The timing of this video is perfect. I recently purchased a lantern with a top halogen bulb but it took hours to melt a small layer of wax. It is being returned. Melanie, what wattage of halogen bulb does this lamp use? I love that it is adjustable. You're right sometimes a crock doesn't work due to size variance. One thing I do when I melt a candle in my crock is use tweezers to remove the wicks so it can never be burned again. ETA: Score! I used your discount, plus had $11 and change cashback bonus so I purchased it for $48. Thanks!!!

I think this is a great idea, especially the timer and height adjustments. I have a candle crock but I don’t love how long it takes to warm enough to smell the candle. And with a huge, curious young dog who can reach every horizontal surface of my house 😬 I’ve been too nervous to light candles. So now I have one of these coming 😂 And really I think this is nicer looking than the crock. It looks more like intentional home decor that I will enjoy having out.

Does a candle lamp increase scent throw vs burning?
@MrKongsMom2 жыл бұрын
I don't know that it increases it. At least not with the few candles I have tried so far. It's about on par with burning in that respect.

I’m so glad to see this video. I’d seen this adjustable lamp before, but was worried about quality…thinking if it was flimsy, the arm might constantly be falling. Hard to judge quality from an Amazon ad. You’ve convinced me to try it, plus I used the coupon code! 👏🏻
@MrKongsMom2 жыл бұрын
This is not flimsy at all. You have to secure the arm when you lower or raise it but once you do everything is very firmly in place. I love this thing!

How many hours of melt do you get on a candle lamp/crock?

Great video. I still prefer to burn my candles, nothing is more pleasing than a burning candle. I did want to tell you be careful touching the bulb with your fingers ( I saw you touch it a couple times during filming) because the oil from your skin can damage the bulb. I learned this the hard way with a lamp I owned and replacement bulbs are not cheap. Even with instructions that come with the bulb, they instruct you to clean your skin with alcohol before changing.

I got the same one in rose gold with the timer on it, but I have yet to use it because I just don't understand why you have to pour the wax out. But in any event, I am going to use it eventually because it's safer and I don't have to worry about anyting and I can even fall asleep and know that the house won't burn down.
@MrKongsMom2 жыл бұрын
The wax eventually stops releasing fragrance. That's why you pour it out, so you can get to the wax that has not been melted and has oils in it to release and continue to fragrance the house.
