Happy New Year, Melanie and family!! It's funny that you mention experiencing "puny wicks" or small flames on some of your Kringle candles. I have experienced the same on several ones that I bought in 2022. One of them, Ginger Snow Angel, has seemingly corrected itself and the flames are much brighter. I have maybe a fourth of the candle left, but some of the wax loss is due to my having to pour some off because it was turning a dark color. Interestingly, the scent throw on the candles I have experienced low flames has never been an issue, but I definitely burn candles because of the ambiance and comfort of the light as well. The other two candles that I have experienced low flames on were from the mercury glass collection... Christmas (green jar) and Holiday (red jar). Again, like the Ginger Snow Angel, both Christmas and Holiday have seemed to do better with continued burning. I have also experienced low flames on the Country Candles (paraffin wax only), and I found that pouring some of the wax off helped the candle correct itself. I am continuing to burn Christmas scents this week and will probably continue to for the next few weeks due to all the snow we got yesterday and continuing arctic temperatures. BBW Cinnamon Spiced Vanilla reminds me so much of Homeworx Hot Cider Donut. From watching BBW candle community content from 10+ years ago, it seems that Cinnamon Spiced Vanilla is a repackage of the original Cinnamon Sugared Donut.

I finished my Noble Fern this Christmas, I bought that giant one in fall of 2023 when they were sending out discounts for Christmas and fall season. So I will repurchase in the fall. I love that candle. Im using the vessel as a hurricane, it’s beautiful.

I finished all of my holiday fragrances by Friday (yesterday). I have a hodgepodge of candles out in the kitchen/dining/living room/foyer open concept- marshmallow fireside, falling snow & perfect in Pink BBW, Homeworx Harvest Bake Shop, & a 5 wick Hearth sized Snow Angels. In the bedrooms are Vanilla Romance and Sugared Lemon and Spice. Love that you're continuing to get through your stash. Enjoy the little things in life! Hope your mom's journey is going well.

I agree BBW has to be on sale for me to purchase, I have not come across a candle from them that burned all the way down in quite some time.

My weekend so far--My 17 yr old twin boys decided to try drinking vodka last night. They, who constantly tell me they are now adults, were in my room all night and all morning, crying for Mommy and vomiting, sobbing thinking they were dying. Let's hope this, and their grounding, is a life lesson well learned. So my home fragrance today is all fresh scents, trying to get the sick smell out of the air. Teenagers are so much fun! 🙄🤦🏻‍♀ You're 100% right about using correct wattage. I ordered 25 watt warmer bulbs and got 50 watt bulbs in packaging that said 25 watt. Those warmers started smoking so bad pretty quickly. Thank God I was home that day. I now check every actual bulb before I use it.

Ohhhh, oh boy. Yeah, I remember my first time. I learned rather quickly that more is not better with alcohol lol! I hope your home is now free of the stench of kid vomit 🤣. A few nice lemon scents should take care of that! I get really scared when I see people suggesting in candle groups or message boards to just put a higher wattage bulbs in whatever lamp they have. So so dangerous!!!! These lamps are all fairly cheaply made so I think its all the most important to follow the directions.

I ordered my first candle crock the other day and I’m so excited to get it! I got the cream colored one from Boscovs for $14.99 such a great price! I’m sure you already know but I saw on Kringle website that they restocked some of the reserved line. Grilled PB&J, Sweet Cream and Pumpkin Spiced Latte!

Hey Melanie, nice fragrance roundup. I bought Cinnamon French Toast in this white band at the outlets, I like it on cold. Still have yet to do Snow Angels, hasn't appeared at the outlets. I'm excited to use the 80 ounce Spun Vanilla Sugar purchased at T.J. Maxx at some point, maybe I'll let it cure for at least a year. Cinnamon Spiced Vanilla threw pretty well. I'm burning BBW To All A Good Night and still burning GC Snow Covered Apples, both are good. Few of the new or old 2025 BBW candles coming out: Pink Lilac & Vanilla, Picnic Petals, Orange Lily Blossom, White Iris & Cedarwood, Garden Weather, Blue Sky Haze, Sweetest Song, and Spring Apple. To da loo.

I had 2 Golden Woods candles that were in the same collection as Crimson Velvet, I remember getting them on sale which is the only reason I had 2 lol, I loved that one sooo much!!❤

Because I despise the end of Fall/Christmas, I am very intentional about what I burn in Jan/Feb. It’s not that I dislike winter, it’s that people start talking about Spring, which is my least favorite season. 😂 I burn nothing that screams Spring until late March. For now, it’s Eucalyptus Rain, Sweater Weather, Marshmallow Fireside from BBW, and Winter’s Eve from HW.

I always appreciate the different companies you review it really encourages me to try other lines. You’ve definitely gotten me on Voluspa bandwagon. I can’t remember if you have spoken of Glasshouse candles before but I was burning their Winter Wonderland this season and thought of you. Tbh they are almost too strong for me though haha, Happy New Year!

I actually did try a few Glasshouse candles. I think I bought them from Dermstore or something. Honestly, after reviewing them, I was not that impressed. Mine got really dirty and the strength and throw of the one's I got were not that spectacular. It kept me from trying them again.

@ I need to go find your reviews on them, tbh I’ve only burned one and I had a suspicion it might get dirty. This scent was strong to me but any evergreen does that for me.
